A narrower nose reduces water resistance, resulting in faster glide with each paddle stroke. The parallel outline ensures good traction and fewer paddle hand changes. This also brings another benefit, a wider tail, which greatly improves the stability of the board.
It is a little shorter, but designed to be wider. This makes it very easy to control and still offers a good balance.
